Who operates IA Hub

Privacy

We collect your name, mobile number, claim/file number, inspection photos you send, and message content needed to handle the assignment. Texts are sent through our messaging provider only to deliver your claim messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency is up to 5 messages per claim. Message and data rates may apply.

Texts are about your open claim only: photo links, reminders, and status — not advertising. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, HELP for help. We keep claim records as required for insurance work, then delete or archive per file retention.

Photos you upload through an inspection link are stored on that claim for the carrier/client and the assigned appraiser. Do not upload unrelated personal photos. Staff logins are for the firm only.

Questions: the number on your inspection text, or the firm phone on your assignment.

Terms and conditions

By verbally agreeing on the call, or by giving us your mobile on an assignment, you agree to receive claim-related texts (inspection photo links, reminders, assignment notices). Message frequency is up to 5 messages per claim. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out; we confirm and stop. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not close your claim; we can still reach you by call or email if the file requires it.

Photo links expire (about 21 days). You are responsible for the photos you submit. This is not insurance coverage and not legal advice. The current version of these terms is always on this page.

IA Hub end-user license agreement (v2026-09-07)

Staff must accept this agreement on first login (and again if it is updated) before using IA Hub.

Who this covers

This agreement is between Apex Damage Appraisals (“Apex,” “we”) and you, a staff user of IA Hub. It applies to every owner, admin, and appraiser. You must accept it before using the software. If the agreement is updated, you must accept the new version before continuing.

The software is ours

IA Hub — including its screens, workflows, reports, forms, photo lists, estimating jacket, code, and documentation — is the intellectual property of Apex Damage Appraisals. Accepting this license does not transfer ownership. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use IA Hub only as an authorized user of the firm that invited you, and only for that firm’s appraisal work.

What you may not do

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or offer IA Hub (or a look-alike) to another shop. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the system to build a competing product. You may not share your login. You may not take screens, templates, or workflows to another company except as needed to handle a file you were assigned while employed here.

Claim files

Claim data, photos, estimates, and insured information belong to the firm and its clients/carriers. Treat them as confidential. Do not download or forward files except as required to handle the assignment.

No warranty

IA Hub is provided as-is for the firm’s operations. Apex is not liable for lost work, missed deadlines, or claim outcomes that result from use or unavailability of the software, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The current version is always available from Help and from /legal.

Client protection and non-solicitation agreement (v2026-09-10)

Appraisers must electronically sign this on first login, and again if Apex requires it on the next login. It protects Apex’s client relationships.

Who this covers

This agreement is between Apex Damage Appraisals (“Apex,” “the firm,” “we”) and you, an appraiser engaged to handle assignments through IA Hub. It is a condition of access. You must accept it on first login. If Apex asks you to re-sign, you must accept again before using the software.

What we are protecting

Apex’s business depends on its client relationships — insurance carriers, TPAs, independent-adjusting firms, lenders, remarketers, shops, and the adjusters and claim staff who send Apex work. Those names, contacts, procedures, rates, and assignment history are confidential to Apex. You receive them only to complete files Apex assigns to you.

No marketing Apex’s clients

While you are engaged by Apex, and for eighteen (18) months after that engagement ends for any reason, you will not — directly or through anyone else — solicit, market to, pitch, or offer appraisal, photo-inspection, or related services to any Apex client, carrier, TPA, adjuster, or claim contact that you learned of, dealt with, or had access to through Apex or IA Hub. You will not use Apex’s client list, rates, or procedures to win that work for yourself or another shop.

No taking the work

You will not ask an Apex client to send assignments to you personally, to another IA, or to a company you own or join, instead of Apex. If a client you met through Apex contacts you on your own, you will not accept that work during the restricted period and will direct them to Apex.

Confidentiality

You will not copy, download, or share client lists, adjuster contacts, fee schedules, forms, or claim files except as needed to handle an assigned file. When your engagement ends, you will stop using IA Hub and will not keep those materials.

What this does not stop

This is not a ban on working as an appraiser. You may take work from sources that are not Apex’s clients and that you did not learn through Apex. You may work for another IA firm so long as you do not market to or service Apex’s clients as described above.

Why it matters

Apex invested in the client relationships, software, and workflow you are using. Using those relationships to compete with Apex harms the firm. A breach may result in immediate end of the engagement, removal of system access, and any other remedies available under Virginia law, including injunctive relief and damages.

Electronic signature

Typing your legal name and tapping Accept is your electronic signature. It has the same effect as a handwritten signature. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The current version is always available from Help and from /legal.
